Courtland was born in Winnipeg but considers Calgary home having spent much of his life here. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice (with Honours) from Mount Royal University in 2018 and earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Manitoba in 2021. During law school he was active with various advocacy student groups and initiatives.
Courtland is a devoted family lawyer that believes in a client-centered approach to family law matters. He understands that each client’s needs are unique and seeks to ensure that his clients have a voice and are well-informed about their legal options as he works to tailor legal solutions to their needs. Courtland takes a collaborative stance on family disputes and believes in the benefits of negotiating settlements while recognizing the value in court advocacy where needed.
When not advocating for his clients, you’ll find Courtland engaging in sports, or spending time outside with his dog.
