Gillianne Hardy-Legault

Gillianne was born and raised in Calgary. She received her Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in English at the University of British Columbia (Okanagan) and her Juris Doctor from the University of Alberta. She was admitted to the Alberta Bar in 2022, and since that time Gillianne has practiced primarily in family law.

Gillianne understands that family law disputes are often challenging, and she leads with empathy and compassion while also advocating for her clients. Gillianne’s priority is finding practical and effective solutions for clients, and she believes this is often best done outside of the courtroom. When more assistance is needed to resolve a matter, Gillianne is experienced with mediation and arbitration. She understands that in some cases, court is necessary, and she has successfully represented clients in the Alberta Court of Justice and the Court of King’s Bench of Alberta.

Outside of work, Gillianne enjoys travelling, trying new foods, and forcing people to look at cute photos of her dog.
