Calgary is not just where Susan practices law; it's where she grew up, studied, and found her passion for helping others navigate the complexities of family law. Susan earned her Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Sociology with a minor in Gender Studies, from Mount Royal University. Following that, she graduated from the faculty of law at Thompson Rivers University, where she served as the president of the South Asian Legal Students Association and honed her legal skills at the Thompson Rivers University Community Legal Clinic.
During her articling period, Susan focused on family law, realizing that it's not just a legal field—it's a realm where people's lives intersect with the law in deeply personal ways. Susan believes in the power of empathy and understanding, which is why she approaches every case with a client-centered mindset. Family law matters often bring immense stress, and Susan's goal is to alleviate that burden by providing compassionate solutions tailored to each unique situation.
In her free time, you'll find Susan in the mountains or spending quality time with family and friends. Being fluent in Punjabi and conversational in Hindi allows Susan to connect with and support an even broader range of clients.
